In the Notes

Hello guys,
Lately I've been visiting lots of sites dedicated to our environmental situation, animal care and human rights. The subject is very important, though, unfortunately, not very popular at the moment.
So exploring stuff related to this issue I've found lots of information about Ian Somerhalder's activity in this area. This was quite unexpectable for me, as I only knew this actor for his performance in "Lost" series and new lovely "The Vampire Diaries" series.

About a week ago or so mr. Somerhalder announced his new project the "IAN SOMERHALDER FOUNDATION". I was very glad to read Ian's message to people, and due to my opinion is close to his foundation's aims, I'm a new supporter of course. You can also support the project following its Twitter.

Ian's birthday is next week, on the 8th of December, and he applies to people to give a donation to the IS Foundation, as a gift for his birthday - what I think is really sweet and fairly:

"Instead of gifts this year, my birthday wish is that we come together and raise funds to support projects that protect our habitat and nurture our furry friends. If people truly feel like giving me a gift for my birthday this year, I hope you will consider giving a donation to the foundation. Giving to the foundation would be the best gift I could ever wish for, it would give us a chance to make change together.

With birthday wish campaigns, it is customary to suggest a donation in relation to the age the person will be turning...Whoa... 32 years old this year, how did that happen? Whether you choose to give 32 dollars or more, or less, I’m going to appreciate your involvement in the IS Foundation start up in an immeasurable way. If you have it in your heart to donate, I want to thank you right now..... THANK YOU!"

Truth to be said, I really started to respect this man, and the name Ian Somerhalder means to me inspiration and hope for a better world.
